MIDWEST REGIONAL - June 6-7, 2011

This year the Regional theme is Carillon Composers  

Bill DeTurk (Florida) will discuss and analyze the unpublished scores of John Courter.

Laura Ellis (Florida) will discuss the music of Bert Gerken.

Sharon Hettinger (Kansas) will discuss the music of Emilien Allard.

John Knox (England) will discuss his own scores composed specifically
for the International Carillon Festival.

Peter Langberg (Denmark) will discuss the music of Sven Erik Werner.

Vegar Sandholt will talk about the music of Arne Nordheim (1931-2010) a prominent
Norwegian composer.

Neil Thornock (USA) will discuss his composition Resoundings composed for the 50th International Carillon Festival.
